New Jersey native Ryerson released his first single on May 21, 2021 in the midst of the Covid-19 pandemic. Written and recorded in early 2021, the track "It's a New Day" features Ryerson on vocals and on every musical instrument. "It's a New Day" can be interpreted  in many ways, but was written as a reminder that there are better days ahead no matter how deep we have fallen.

Growing up in local NJ surf culture, Ryerson is heavily influenced by dub/reggae acts such as Rebelution, Stick Figure and Pepper to name a few. He puts his take on NJ reggae, blending memorable progressions with his transparent lyrics and his love for his hometown on the NJ Shore.

Ryerson's first single was followed up by his second and third EP's "Drinkin'" and "Gone Away (for Walt)" which were released in 2022 and 2023, respectively, and both of which were recorded in the same manner with Ryerson on vocals and every musical instrument. "Drinkin'" pays homage to locals life on the NJ Shore, with several well known locations mentioned in the song, while "Gone Away (for Walt)" is an instrumental reggae cover of the 1998 Offspring track. Ryerson rearranged the music and recorded this cover as a tribute to his late father, who passed in 2021.

All 3 EP's are available for download and streaming on all platforms.

Ryerson's first full length album is currently in production with a Spring 2024 tentative release date.
